NEW DELHI: To counter the Reliance Jio wave, India's number one telecom operator Airtel has rolled out new data and voice plans starting at Rs 8. The plans, which differ per telecom circles, start at Rs 8 and goes up to Rs 399. Here are the new plans rolled out by Airtel for its prepaid subscribers: Rs 8 plan: Local and STD calls for 30 paisa Under the Rs 8 plan, Airtel subscribers will be able to make local and STD calls at 30 paisa per minute for a period of 56 days. Rs 15 plan: Local calls at 10 paisa With recharge of Rs 15, Airtel subscribers will be allowed to make calls to the same network at 10 paisa per minute for a period of 27 days.
